We have created this booklet so as to tell you the story at home. In the booklet, they have drawn animals and fruits according to the story, here you have one of them as an example:

YUMMY SMOOTHIES

Handa´s surprise story is about animals and fruits, so last friday as it was the fruit day, we decided to prepare some smoothies as the afternoon snack, using the fruits that appear in the story.

WORKING WITH THE VOCABULARY

Last week we did these pictures from the story, it was a good way to practice the vocabulary, they will show you at home...

WHERE IS HANDA FROM?

The new story called "Handa´s surprise" is about a girl from Africa. Where is Africa in the map? How can we go there? How do African people wear? We have been speaking about all these kind of things using the map and some photos from Africa.
But...they also wanted to know where was Canada, where Isabella is from!

WALKING THROUGH THE JUNGLE

Here you have the videos:

WALKING THROUGH THE JUNGLE CRAFT

We created this craft and we have been using it to practice the story. It is a funny way to work the actions and the animals:
(They move the actions and the animals while they tell the story)

FUNNY GAMES TO WORK THE VOCABULARY

These photos show you a game we sometimes use in class to work the vocabulary (story vocabulary, numbers, class objects ...).  We make a circle and we put different flashcards on the floor. I choose a student who is asked to take a vocabulary card (take number...), if this student takes it well, he/she takes a glass, puts it on the floor and puts the card on it. In this way, they have to be able to make a big tower...

WALKING THROUGH THE JUNGLE

Here is the story we have been working on these weeks and the one they will soon tell you at home with a story craft we have created:

STORYTELLING

We are lucky to have Isabella with us! Everyday she comes, she tell us some funny stories...They love it and they keep themselves entertained!

He looked at the dolly and he shook his head.

And the result is...
